The grapes used for our inaugural 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon were grown at premier vineyards in California’s North Coast appellation, an area that benefits from warm days and cool nights and helps grapes develop phenolic ripeness while maintaining a balanced acidity.
Despite drought conditions in 2014, the summer weather was perfect. Outstanding fruit quality meant we were able to craft wines with a rich, dark color, intense aromas, and concentrated fruit character.
Dusty black berry, black cherry and blueberry aromas with ripe black berry and sweet black cherry flavors. Well balanced with a supple body and finely structured tannins, finishing with a fresh burst of black cherry and berry.
